CELLUMA LIGHT THERAPY
What is Light Therapy?
Light Emitting Diode (LED) phototherapy is the application of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance. Phototherapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields. Research has shown that phototherapy can: increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, decrease inflammation, ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm and arthritis.
INTERFERENTIAL MUSCLE STIM
Electrotherapy pertains to the use of electrical stimulation of the body. It may be used to control pain, increase blood and lymphatic circulation, reduce muscle spasm, relax or stimulate the nervous system or aid in the healing process.
MANUAL COX TRACTION
Dr. Cox has developed a technique of “flexion/disc-traction” which pulls the bulging intervertebral discs and tissues away from the spinal cord and the spinal nerves. This technique incorporates a special table that breaks away and flexes downward while performing the tractioning maneuver.
ULTRASOUND
The pulsed sound waves travel deep into the tissue and induce vasodilation, which helps increase blood flow to the treated area and is found to help relieve pain and reduce muscle spasms.
